Gopi sat on the bed and rested her chin on her palm as she let out a huge sigh. She looked over to the alarm clock which was on the bedside table. It struck 9:00p.m. in huge red numbers. "Where are you Ahemji!," she whined as she looked down at the white angel-like sari she wore for Ahem. On top of that, she had her hair fully down. Ahem had promised her that after work, he would take her out for dinner at 7. 3 hours had passed and she called him many times and sent quite a few texts asking him "where are you." But she didn't get any replay.
She took a glance at the door which remained close. She sighed as she opened the door to let in some fresh air. She saw Rashi passing by in a white sari as while and seemed upset. She had her phone firmly in her hands as she looked around. "Rashi ben?" Rashi looked at Gopi's direction and smiled a bit. Gopi smiled back at her as she approached her elder sister. "What wrong? You seem upset." Rashi smile turned into a frown."Where do I start," she said with irritation. " Jigarji said he will take me out after work. I got dressed up for him but look at Gopi, he still isn't here. This isn't fair nah." Gopi frowned and looked down as the thought of Ahem doing the same thing to her appeared in her head again. Rashi noticed the change of expression and noticed what she was wearing. " Wow Gopi!," she exclaimed, "You look beautiful! Wait! Did Ahem jiju also said the same thing to you!" Gopi nodded as she folded her arms in irritation. "Both of them," Rashi complained,"they both are the same. Probably cause they are brothers." Gopi nodded her head in agreement as she pushed her hair back. " Not only them, all guys! But maybe they are planning something together?" Rashi's face brightened up and she beamed," Wow Gopi, I never thought of that!" Huge grins appeared on both of their faces and day dreams caught up in their heads. They heard a knock on the door and both of them gave an exchange of smiles and nods to each other before they both ran into their rooms since they knew, they are here.
Gohem's Room
Gopi sat on her bed as she smiled when Ahem walked in the room. Ahem gave her quick glance but changed his direction towards the washroom. Without a word, he picked up his towel and clothes and entered the washroom. Gopi frowned and threw Ahem's pillow on the floor in anger. "Who does he think he is?," she thought , "he didn't even notice me!" She looked down at the pillow that she threw on the ground and an idea came to her. She smirked as she picked up the pillow. She climbed up on the bed and sat on the platform for her prey. Many minutes later, Ahem came out of the bathroom. He looked up at Gopi who was standing on the bed and was jumping away like a child. "Gopi!?," he asked in surprise," What are you doing?! You need to stop, this bed is expensive!" "Try to stop me," Gopi challenged. Gopi knew Ahem couldn't resist a challenge no matter what. One habit he got from his mother. Before you knew it, Ahem got on the bed and tried to stop her from jumping. He grabbed the hold of her from her waist as she laughed and put her arms around his neck. In a few seconds, Ahem let go of her and she fell on the bed on her bum. "Go to sleep," he said as he turned of the lights. He laid down beside Gopi, who was sitting up and was looking at Ahem in disappointment. Ahem noticed his pillow wasn't there and moved his hands for it. Gopi grabbed the pillow and held the pillow close to her. Ahem looked up at her and asked for his pillow back. Gopi gave him the death glare and threw it back at him. "What was that for Gopi?," he asked as Gopi laid down and faced the opposite direction. She closed her eyes in anger and remained silent. In a few seconds, she fell a sleep.
Raji's Room
Rashi sat down on the mirror's stool and was smiling to herself in her reflection. Jigar walked in as Rashi remained seated. Jigar got his clothes from the cabinet and looked over at Rashi."Rashi," he said casually. Rashi got excited and stood up facing Jigar. "yes?" She smiled and thought he was going to compliment her. She closed her eyes for a second and waited for him to respond back. " Rashi, my towel...is beside you." Rashi eyes widened up with shock but smirked after when an idea popped in her head. She picked up the towel. " No get it for yourself," she teased him with a challenging smirk. "Rashi seriously, pass it," Jigar said firmly . Rashi shook her head and backed up as Jigar came closer to her. She hid the towel behind her and Jigar pulled her towards him trying to get his towel. Rashi still kept the towel behind her back and held it in a tight grip as Jigar had his arms around her waist trying to get it. But Rashi's energy wasn't enough and he got a hold of the towel and started to walk to the bathroom. Rashi quickly grabbed the towel from one end and tugged on it. Jigar pulled it back hard causing Rashi to bump into him. Jigar took the towel and went inside the washroom. He closed the door before Rashi can enter and Rashi kept knocking on the door. "Jigarji!," she whined. She got no responds which caused her to be angry. She laid down on the bed and closed her eyes. Many minutes later, she heard the door opening and she sat up. Jigar came into the room ignoring her as she made a face. She threw the two pillows beside her at him before huffing and going back to sleep.
Later
Both Gopi & Rashi heard their hubby's voice in their ears telling them to wake up near 12. They got up and they both were in their hubby's arms. They both sat up and noticed they weren't in their bed or even in their rooms. Instead of their regular rooms, they were in the backyard which was their typical backyard. There were two tables with white table sheets and matching chairs. Both the tables had a candles which were lit up. There were lights everywhere which surrounded them and rose petals too. Their eyes widened up and lid with joy.The sisters looked at each other and gave a exchange of happiness to each other.
Both of them hugged their hubby's with appreciation as they kissed their foreheads.
" Ahemji, you have no idea how I am feeling right now! I never felt like this before," Gopi said as kept her arms around him. " I am soo grateful I have a husband like you."
Rashi stayed in Jigar's arms but then noticed something. She hit him playfully on his arm as she asked,"What was all that in our room then? I am still mad at you for that!" She got up and looked away as she tried not to smile. Jigar hugged her from the back as he explained,"Me and bhai wanted to give the best wives in the world a surprise. How would it have been a surprise without a bit of drama?" Gopi looked at Ahem with her eyebrows raised up with curiosity, " How did you get this idea and why now? Couldn't you have done this at 7?" She got up as Ahem continued to hold her.
Both brothers looked at their watches and exchanged looks. "10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1...Happy Anniversary!" Both sisters exclaimed with joy but also were surprised that they actually remembered their anniversary because all their attention was on work for the past few weeks. They had a beautiful dinner with the light from the moon and the decoration lights. They only had the lights on for a while but turned it off to get natural light from the moon and stars. Soon it started to rain , but the rain couldn't cool down the romance. Before going to bed, I Love You, were the last words said by both couples.
